Overview of Buying Process


*Kathleen will explain at the initial meeting how she will work for you.  You will outline your needs and wants.


*Preapproval is the first step in your housing search.


*Kathleen will monitor new listings that meet your criteria and notify you.  .


*REMEMBER, always contact Kathleen directly before you look at any FSBO, new construction, open houses or another agency's listing.


*When you find your home, Kathleen will help you determine the terms, write the offer and the process is started.  With the offer a first deposit check is needed.  A second deposit check will be required within 10 days provided the terms are accepted.  Mortgage application & inspections must be completed within 10-14 days of acceptance. 


*After the offer is presented, Kathleen will communicate with you, negotiate on your behalf and offer the best advice possible as well as thinking outside of the box to overcome the many issues that will surface during this process.
